OVERVIEW
Fusion360 can be used to create 5-axis toolpath for 5axismaker. Here we show how to setup 5-axis simultaneous machining with Fusion360 Multi-Axis Contour strategy.
Multi-Axis Countour is a multi-axis strategy in Fusion360 for machining with the tip of the tool along a given contact curve. By default, the tool is normal to the surface, but lead/lag and sideways tilt can be applied, when desired, to control the contact point on the tool. The strategy allows centre, left, and right compensation.

To begin working in CAM workspace open/import the model.
Generate Toolpath (CAD to CAM): Geometry is described as a series of machining toolpaths.
SETUP
Units: Change units from Metric to Imperial: below Browser-> Units – Change Active Units – select prefered system and click ok. Remember to change Mach3 settings accordingly so that you are working in the same units in both CAM and Mach3.
Create New Setup. Setup specifies model direction, axis directions which should be set up the same as in your machine’ physical space, stock outline, model position in relation to stock.
TRIMMING PASS
All the cutting strategies for this case study are programmed with Multi-Axis Contour, which is a multi-axis strategy for machining with the tip of the tool along a given contact curve.
Multi-axis is done in 5-axis simultaneously from multiple sides.
There are three passes, the first pass runs halfway down the stock thickness, the second pass goes through the mould thickness leaving the tabs, and the third pass is done halfway mould thickness with a custom tool to create lense grooves.
