Problem: machine stopped during the cut

Have you experienced an abrupt stop during the cutting? This article will help you troubleshoot a machine stop during the cut.

The error on the controller screen: Error, Z axis command over SoftMin

Solution

To fix this adjust the tool length, and then complete cutting this part without scrapping it.

To begin, go to machine controller window:

Press Stop (machine light turn red);

Press Reset once;

Press Reset twice;

Press Home (machine goes back to its home position)

Then adjust the tool length as per video below:

Once the tool is extended press Home on the controller and wait for the machine to home.

Load the same file and press start to cut this aligner once again.
